Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the process of optimizing your site to be easily found and properly indexed by the search engines.
This means designing your site and the content on your site so that search engines will rank your site high within the natural search results (that list of websites that appears after you conduct a search). There is a science to which key words you should use in the title /description of your pages and in the content of your site so the search engines will know how to rank your site. (I’m based in New York, so I’ve been following along here with the invaluable assistance from all manner of live blogs, photos, videos, and even the surreptitious live audio feeds from intrepid audience members at yesterday’s unveiling; Apple has since posted video of the event here.)
Of course, the iPad questions and answers below are only scratching the surface; if I don’t end up answering your specific question below, please post it in the comments below and I’ll circle back in a follow-up post. (And for all the basic details about the iPad, click here.)
