A Touch Screen Android Phone with T9 Numeric Keypad

I was searching for a touch screen Android phone with T9 Numeric Keypad input, because i do not like neither full touch screen nor QWERTY because i do not want both my hands busy pressing and holding the phone :D . And i use to text a lot too. After searching a little while i found a Danish based starter company called Lumigon.

First announced at CES 2010, the Lumigon T1, S1, and E1 were an absolutely gorgeously designed set of Android phones from a company that no one had ever heard from.
According to Lumigon’s Facebook page, they’ll be launching on the 20th of October, at 8:10 PM — aka 2010-2010-2010. Pre-orders will start September 10.

The phones are based on open standards with Google’s newest state-of-the-art operating system Google Android with a special Lumigon P-GUI software implementation, to give the user even more user-friendliness. They’ll ship with the following specs: :)

- Freescale 1 Ghz 3D processor
- 3.2″ hi color screen with capacitive touchscreen
- up to 32 Gb memory with microSD card slot outside
- 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash
- Front camera for video calls
- WiFi, Bluetooth and infrared

As Gmail is not providing the J2ME client for accessing email from your mobile device, here is how to configured Gmail IMPAP on Nokia. This may apply for for all theS60 v3 devices like N80, N73, N82, N93, 5320, 6120, 6121 etc., The instructions should be similar for E-Series devices too.

Go to Messaging -> Options -> Settings -> Email -> Mailboxes and add a new mailbox. Follow the Wizard.

The Nokia N97 mini leaked a long time ago and it was about time it got officially announced. The official announcement brought no surprises – the N97 mini sports a smaller 3.2-inch resistive touchscreen with 640×360 resolution, 3-row full QWERTY tilting keyboard (this time without the D-pad), a 5 megapixel camera (Carl Zeiss optics) with VGA@30fps recording and dual LED flash, 8 GB internal storage, FM radio and microSD card slot. The connectivity package is as full as usual – 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack and TV-out.

The Nokia N97 mini is only 14.2 mm thin and weighs 12 g less than its big brother. It will ship in October on 450 euro price.

LG BL40 Black Label video leaks, specs confirmed

The fourth member of the fashionable Black Label series has just made another step toward revealing its identity. A short video appeared on YouTube demonstrating the UI of the LG BL40, as seems to be the name of the next Chocolate successor. The video also comes to confirm most of the rumored hot specs of new the handset.

LG BL40 will come with an exciting 4″ touchscreen display with cinema aspect ratio of 21:9 and a resolution of 800×345 pixels. It will run what a revamped S-class UI and will sport 3G connectivity with 7.2Mbps HSDPA.

A scratch-resistant glass will make sure that your new Black Label handset keeps its excellent looks for a long time. Muti-touch, Wi-Fi and A-GPS are among the other confirmed specs.

Rumors also had it that the LG BL40 will come complete with a 5 megapixel camera but there’s neither confirmation nor refutation of this one in the video. We guess LG will clear that out when they officially announce the handset next month. And here goes the video in question for you to enjoy.
